The Holidays are approaching and I wanted to take minute to write about one of my reasons to Blog. Aside from loving having the ability to teach and show others how to save money, I also like to think of it as my way to 'pay it forward'. I truly believe that the more you give, the more you will get back. And even if you don't, the satisfaction of helping others should be great enough. It's a great way to teach my children the morals and ethics I want them to have and to share with their children.
Maybe you will see someone in a store getting an item that you have a coupon for ~ share it! And if you get the chance to score some really great deals that cost you pennies or even nothing, take the opportunity to donate them! Diapers & wipes -some towns have a diaper bank and would be so grateful for your donation. Non-perishable items - go to your local food bank and drop some off. Take the opportunity of being able to give back and see what programs your community has and I am sure you will see there will be more than one way you can give back!
This Holiday Season remember those less fortunate.
Give where you can. You'll be glad you did.
