These are a change of pace for regular old cheap hot dogs! My family enjoys them. I serve them on Hot Dog Rolls with Oven Roasted Fries & Veggies on the side. Enjoy!
Oven Bbq Hot Dogs
Ingredients:
12 hot dogs, scored diagonally
1 small onion, sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
4 teaspoons sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (I omit the hot sauce for the lil one!)
Directions:
1 Heat oven to 325.
2 Put the hot dogs in a 12 x 8 x 2" baking dish.
3 In medium saucepan,saute the onion in the butter,until tender.
4 When tender,remove from burner,add in remaining ingredients.
5 Stir,combining well.
6 Pour mixture over hot dogs.
7 Bake for 25 minutes.
