It Doesn't Hurt to Ask!

Sometimes, you have to work extra hard for your deal.  I had gotten a rain check for last weeks CVS deal for the Oral B Vitality Rechargeable toothbrush.  The regular price was $32.99 and CVS had them on sale for $23.99 and were giving back $13.00 ECB's.  On top of that the P&G Saver that week had a coupon for $10.00.  That equals FREE!  Of course these items sold out quick and my local stores only got a few in. I was thankful for the rain check.

I have been checking in the store all week to see if they would be in yet.  Their shipments came in today and still no toothbrushes!  I did notice a lower grade one, same name, just as good that they just re-stocked.  I figured it cannot hurt to ask. 

I explained my situation to the manager and asked if he could use the ones they
 just re-stocked as a substitute.  He was more than generous! Here is what I got:

Marked down to $6.99 each

PLUS $13 in ECB's on EACH ONE!

AND I had the $10 Coupon from the P&G Saver

Total: They Paid Me $21.00!!!
